We want your seating to work comfortably for you. Let us know your needs in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them — taking your preferences into account when finding the seat or cabin that works best for you. If you require special seating accommodations, you must request them through the Medical Accommodation Form. This form needs to be completed by your physician and emailed to Flair Accessibility Services at accessibility@flyflair.com at least 48 hours before departure.
What Can You Request?
- A flexible seating arrangement (Example: proximity to the lavatory, extra space for a service dog, being seated near your Support Person, liftable armrests, seatbelt extenders).
- An extra seat or additional space – if, because of the nature of your disability, you need more than one seat, we will provide you with any adjacent seat needed to meet your accessibility needs
For flights operated within Canada, Flair Airlines does not charge a fare for an additional seat required to accommodate a customer’s disability. This policy is in line with the One Person, One Fare requirement under the Canadian Transportation Agency.
What Do You Need to Know?
- A single reservation and ticket must be issued under the travelling customer’s name. Multiple bookings for the same person are not allowed, and identical itineraries under different names are also prohibited.
- When travelling within Canada, you may request an extra seat free of charge by submitting a Medical Accommodation Form.
- When travelling outside of Canada, additional seats are available for purchase.
- Please refer to our Service Animals or Emotional Support Dogs section if the extra space is for your service animal.
- Once your seating request is approved, we will confirm your seating arrangements in writing
What Can't We Do?
We cannot guarantee accommodations for medical and accessibility requests submitted less than 48 hours before departure, though we will make reasonable efforts to do so.
