Note: A self-reliant traveller is self-sufficient and able to take care of their personal needs during the flight beyond the assistance services we offer.
If you require the assistance of a Support Person while travelling within Canada, Flair Airlines will provide an additional seat at no charge for the fare. Applicable taxes and fees set by airport authorities and the federal government will still apply.
A Support Person may be required if you do not consider yourself self-reliant for the purposes of air travel and require assistance with:
- Eating meals, taking medications, or using the washroom
- Transferring to and from your seat*
- Orientation, communication, understanding, and acting upon emergency instructions
- Evacuating in the event of an emergency
*Our inflight crew will be available to assist with transferring you to and from your seat.
