Nickname Mistakes
If you accidentally typed in your nickname instead of the legal name that appears on your ID, the number of characters that you need to add or change will determine the applicable fees. As you are provided with multiple opportunities to confirm the information during the booking flow, we do not waive fees in nickname situations that are considered major corrections.
Minor Name Corrections
A minor name correction is a change involving 3 or fewer characters.
- To perform a minor name correction online (including corrections) no fee(s) will apply.
- To perform a minor name correction (including corrections) with an agent via the Contact Centre, the contact centre transaction fee will apply.
- Middle names can be added or removed from reservations for a fee.
Major Name Corrections
A major name correction is a change involving 4 or more characters.

- To perform a major name correction online, the fee name correction will apply. This fee is per passenger, per PNR.
- To perform a major name correction with an agent via the Contact Centre, both the name correction and contact centre fees will apply

How to Correct a Name Online
- Manage your booking at res.flyflair.com
- Enter your last name and reservation code (PNR)
- Once on the “here’s your reservation page”, click on the link “correct personal information”
- Click on “change name / fix spelling”
- A pop-up will appear to enter the new, correct name
- For minor name corrections (3 or fewer characters) a pop-up will appear to confirm the change
- For major name corrections (4 or more characters), a pop-up will advise the you that a fee will apply
- Once the correction is complete, it will appear on the itinerary
Third-party (travel agency) Reservations
If you purchased your reservation through a third-party agency, please contact your booking provider/travel agent to make the corrections to the name(s) on the reservation.
