Errors and spelling mistakes are bound to happen which is why Flair allows customers to make name corrections on their bookings as long as they fall within certain parameters. Depending on the correction, fees may apply.
Flair's fares are non-transferrable, therefore complete name changes from one passenger to a different passenger are not permitted.
Name correction fees apply per passenger, per reservation. They previously applied per segment.
Please note that name corrections cannot be done online or by the contact centre within 24 hours of the flight's departure. Please proceed to the airport check in counter to correct your name on your reservation as it appears on the travel document you intend to present.
Name Additions or Removals
Adding or removing a first or last name is considered a major name correction and the name correction fee will apply.
- Online: To add a first or last name through Manage My Booking. The name correction fee will apply. This fee is per passenger, per PNR.
- Contact Centre: To add a first or last name with an agent via the Contact Centre, both the name correction and contact centre fees will apply.
- Middle names can be added or removed from reservations subject to the conditions below.
Middle Name Requests
Please be assured that only first and last names are required to match your identification documentation.
- Middle name discrepancies will not cause issues at airport check in or cause denied boarding.
- If a passenger still requests a middle name correction/addition/removal despite informing them of the information above, the name correction fee will apply.
- Because middle name corrections can be done online, the contact centre fee will also apply.
- Please note: Customers cannot add or remove a middle name to their booking on the MMB tool. Adding or removing a middle name can be done for no name correction fees, but the contact centre fee applies.
How to Correct a Name Online
- Manage your booking at res.flyflair.com
- Enter your last name and reservation code (PNR)
- Once on the “here’s your reservation page”, click on the link “correct personal information”
- Click on “change name / fix spelling”
- A pop-up will appear to enter the new, correct name
- For minor name corrections (3 or fewer characters) a pop-up will appear to confirm the change
- For major name corrections (4 or more characters), a pop-up will advise the you that a fee will apply
- Once the correction is complete, it will appear on the itinerary
Third-party (travel agency) Reservations
If you purchased your reservation through a third-party agency, please contact your booking provider/travel agent to make the corrections to the name(s) on the reservation.
