Will I Have to Size My Bag?

Starting December 3, 2025, we're introducing a smoother, quicker airport flow for passengers who purchase a bundle or carry-on. Passengers will fall into the following categories:

I purchased a carry-on or a bundle that includes Flair Express

• Most Flair Express passengers won't be proactively sized, unless their bag clearly either won't fit onboard or appears not to meet Transport Canada requirements. 
• There will be dedicated lanes for a speedier check-in and boarding experience. 

Departures prior to December 3rd will still be required to size their bags either at the gate or check in counter. 

My fare only includes a personal item

Passengers who have not purchased a carry-on or Flair Express bundle will be required to size their bag. However, passengers with only a personal item are now eligible for mobile boarding passes and can proceed directly to the gate to complete bag sizing if they received one during online check in. Bags that do not fit in the sizer will be charged the applicable fees to upgrade their bag based on its size. 

Please leave enough time to complete bag sizing at the gate before boarding closes.
